Does Miami really deserve a whole show about them on ESPN? They think that they have some special blessing to be called the "U", they thought the were so good and they were going to kill Tennessee in the Sugat Bowl, but everyone knows how that went.

Miami has accomplished a lot...Great teams and several national titles and shots at several more...They had a dynasty going and yes I believe they deserve a whole show on what they have done and some of the great players they have had.

I think that they have a great program and have come a long way but I dont understand why they should have one but not Tennessee....we have done just as much as a program

In the past 30 years?...Not even close.

Miami has arguably the greatest team of all time. I'd say that alone is worth their own documentary

And it doesn't hurt when you are trying to put something on television that is designed to attract ratings for there to be a good bit of drama. I think UM has that part down as well.

I have to say, since a documentary is usually something that one associates with an academic endeavour, doing one on the University of Miami seems inherently impossible.

It would be helpful if, just once, you would remotely know what the Hell you're talking about before posting here. Look at football graduation rates for the last 30 for the "U" and that human sewer that gave you a degree, then tell me whose players are more academically inclined.

"Deserve" doesn't have anything to do with it. If ESPN is making a documentary about Miami, it is because they think people will watch it. Like them or not, the Canes' story is going to be more interesting to more people than Tennessee's, or Michigan's, or Texas', or just about any other college football program's save possibly Notre Dame's.
