Miami gets first win

Too bad it wasn't the 0-14 Dolphins beating the 14-0 Pat's. That would have been the greatest day in NFL history.

What's worse for Brian Billick and his job: the always deadful in season vote of confidence he received from the Raven's owner or this loss to a winless team?

The Dolphins had a chance to do something really special and they blew it. These guys will always remember this as the day a place in history slipped from their grasp.

I don't like either franchise, but I do have some measure of respect for the Dolphins. All they have to do now is not screw up the first pick in the draft, if they do, the Patriots will get Darren McFadden.

They'll get D-mac if they want him. Why would Miami draft him when they spent their 1st round pick on Mr. Brown a few years ago?

The only hope is if a San Fran wins out and everyone else loses...

The Falcon's won't take D-mac since they just drafted Norwood... not sure who else is left - maybe the Raiders.

The Patriots spent their first round pick on Lawrence Maroney even more recently.

But it doesn't look like they will get him anyway. They had the Jets projected to draft him on ESPN and San Fran's pick was the #5 pick.. no way D-mac would still be around at #5.

Didn't realize that there were 4 teams ahead of San Fran right now in losses.

If McFadden is available and the Falcons pass over him, it won't be because of Jerious Norwood. He's a nice weapon, but no way he's an every down back. He wouldn't last half a year if he ran between the tackles 20 times a game.

Maroney is solid - but the Patriots are so loaded right now that they could afford to pickup D-mac if they had enough salary cap room. I think the only position the Pat's don't have some type of superstar is at the D-line... so they may go there though.

A team like Miami or Atlanta on the other hand... they're roster is so messed up they can't afford to draft a RB especially after already drafting some recently.
