Is it me or does anyone else kinda feel bad to see the once mighty Canes playing on the blue turf in Boise.

I dont really feel bad but man that has to be a wakeup call.

That has to be the worst Bowl Game "Reward" in the entire NCAA. It's in Boise, on the blue turf and was 29 degrees at kick off. Why would anyone accept a trip to that bowl?

I can never feel sorry for Miami. They have some of the most obnoxious fans in college football. They view all as lesser, and they are getting their due reward. Miami seems to be fading almost as fast as Bama. At least they are winning the bowl game, on the Smurf turf. It looks to be a win by Miami, so far.

Actually, I feel sorry for everyone who has to watch a game played on that blue turf.

Our best hope is that MPC computers will have a bad year and stop sponsoring this waste of air time.

That's what I can't understand!! I've heard this one to many times on the radio/tv..... Knoxville would be to cold to have a bowl game. People only want to travel to warm venues!?!?!

:the_finger: But the snow turf gets a bowl game?

UT is picky about anyone that steps a foot on our field. They don't want a bowl, and very seldom let the NFL, or any other sort of entertainment set foot on sacred ground. It isn't that Knoxville is cold, it is just that we don't need a bowl at Neyland.

I wasn't saying anything towards Tennessee's sacred grass.

What I'm asking is.... Why is Tennessee to cold this time of year to have a bowl. That doesn't make sense to me when they have one in Smurf land. I've heard that statement on ESPN, local, and national radio.

I don't want Neyland being taken over by sponsor banners and the desecration of undeserving teams playing on the feild, unless it's the NCG, with UT in it.
