Got to admit, watching Miami compile their 5-6 record has been somewhat of a guilty pleasure. Who would have thought that possible 4 years ago?

I, for one, am hoping they lay an egg tonight and go 5-7, officially worse than the VOLS last season. Coker is gone either way so let 'em lose.

They haven't been beaten by Boston College since Flutie had the Hail Mary in 1984......It wouldn't bother me any to see Miami go 5-7....And not make a Bowl game.....The big topic to talk about after they lose is who will they get to replace Coker? Will it be Spurrier? Has anyone else heard that Miami is interested in Shula?

why would they replace Coker? sure it's been a nightmare year for the U, but you don't get rid of a coach with his record over one bad season.

Coker's job was basicaly hanging by a limb before the season. You can bet it's gone after this season and the brawl.

A program like Miami requires a serious badass at head coach. Coker is a player's coach, it just doesn't go there.

Couldn't bring myself to go to the game tonight. I've seen enough bad football out of the 'Canes this year.

then I guess it's a similar situation to the Jerry Green episode at UT. Decent enough success, but he had to go anyway...

Did Harrington play well enough to convince the Detroit Lions of what America already knows - Matt Millen is completely incompetent?

Anybody that doesn't know that is beyond hope.

I kept defending Joey, saying it wasn't his fault that he looked that bad, that it was the fact that he played for Detroit... Although deep down I knew he probably wasn't top-flight NFL material. But he's really suprised a lot of people this season.

Let's remember one important fact. He was playing against the Detroit defense.

Point taken . . . but other than maybe Isiah Thomas, there might not be a worse upper level executive in professional sports today.

Watch any NFL? Big performances by Joey Harrington and Tony Romo today.

Romo is looking like the second coming of Kurt Warner. Dallas was a 6-6 team with Bledsoe tossing the ball. I'm not going to say the 'boys are going to win it all, but Romo is doing some great things right now.

did anybody else think Dallas' throwback uniforms are putrid? I'm just glad TB didn't sport their brown and orange disasters.

The executive offices of the Tampa Bay Devil Rays and Kansas City Royals might take issue with that post. Thomas and Millen may incompitent as all hell, but I genuinely believe the MLB franchises in KC and Tampa want to lose.

Again, this fact is really hindering Roy Williams' career. Barry Sanders never amounted to anything in Detroit, either.

Barry Sanders was good by himself. For my money, the most skilled running back of all time. But even he couldn't dig that franchise out of a hole.

The ACC is just wretched. Everyone has been complaining about the Big East having an automatic BCS berth. This year, they're much better than the ACC.

Its crazy how quickly the ACC fell. Not long ago it appeared that conference migt be able to challenge the SEC. Now its just plain bad thanks to the downfall of FSU and Miami.

The whole ACC is made up of teams that can play with anybody on any given Saturday or get blown out. It's strange how inconsistent the top teams have become.

He certainly didn't make it any worse.

Same for Roy Williams.

The idea that the location made Joey Heisman suck out loud is ridiculous.

He's not that much better. Once Culpepper gets fully healthy, it's back to the bench for Joey Heisman.

Hey, Mike Williams made his first reception of the year today. Another promising career ruined by the location.
