Actually, according to the laws of mathematics, holding a team to 0 points is infinitely better than holding a team to 3 points.

Therefore, Mich State's D is infinitely better than Florida's.

on a serious note: I dont take much from that first game with Florida. Just as I dont take too much from it for MSUs 2nd game.

UF will be ok.

MSU held a team to ONE first down all game, and as you said 48 yards total offense. Pretty good showing, even if it was just FAU.

Basically, they won they way they should have, and I remember MANY years where MSU didnt do that.

Good times for football at Michigan State. This is a very good team.

You are statistically splitting hairs if you are trying to compare 48 yds vs 137 yds of offense. FAU could have had one or two busted plays that got them in fg position.
