Will Bloomberg Run?
Bloomberg is a Republican, although he used to be a Democrat until ran fo mayor in NYC. He is generally seen as a liberal on social issues and more conservative on economic issues.
I am not sure what his stand on the Iraq war is, although he was a big supporter of Joe Lieberman's independent run in '06, so that might be telling of where he stands on the war.
He's extremely wealthy and as the article mentions he could spend $500 million without batting an eye on a campaign. So will he be a player? Will he have a shot at winning it? Will he just be a spoiler? If so who do you think he will hurt more if he runs, the Republicans or the Democrats?
Thoughts?
