At his basketball camp when MJ was asked what the toughest shot in basketball he said the free throw for several reasons. Mainly because you are standing all alone with everybody watching and either yelling at you or for you. Plus few players practice it correctly if at all.

The key is not to just 100 FTs in practice, but rather to practice the entire routine with a purpose as often as it takes (100 times a day +). He would step to line - imagine a game tied at the Boston Garden and when I sink this free throw Larry Bird will go home and cry ... Bounce bounce bounce - twirl ball - shoot and swish. Then picture a game in Deteoit and sending Isaiah Thomas home to cry. Bounce bounce bounce twirl swish. Repeat repeat repeat no less than 100 times every day

That was his routine during all those Chicago Bull championship runs. A message some of our players could take to heart ($tokes).

Make sure you practice 100 with your eyes closed in case you have to show somebody what's up.

MJ doesn't know squat. We see how well his Charlotte Bobcats turned out. I mean, has this guy actually played basketball before?

It's no different than going to the range in golf. If you hit balls with your normal routine it's productive. If you're just out there hitting balls it doesn't help.

He played a couple years with the Wizards before giving up, and he wants to make someone think he knows how to shoot a free throw. What a joke. If I want advice, I'll get it from Lebron. Kthxbai.
