damn. Down 2-0 in the 2nd. Going to be a tough weekend.

Robbed of a goal in the first cause someone shoved the goal off the pegs.

Down 2-1 in the 3rd. If we lose cause someone jobbed us in the net, Im going to be pizzled.

I got this on about halfway through the second.

MSU's goal was beautiful. Union should've scored on their 3-0 break, but it looked like they got a little deep and the play took too long to develop.

There were a couple tough breaks, but thats the way it goes I guess.

MSU finished in 10th place in the CCHA last year, this was a good start at getting back to the top of college hockey where they belong.

Missing out on that first goal, and then a couple bad bounces later, and a marginal hooking penalty at the end. eh. Tough weekend to be a Spartan, but it was a great season.

Baseball. . . and Rowing will have to get me through for a while.

I was hoping for a Ferris State/Michigan matchup in the regional final. Since Michigan can't win the title, I hope that Ferris wins it.

I would love to see Ferris win this thing. That would be incredible. But if Union beats them, I would then be on the Union bandwagon. Id like one of the two small schools.

Someone in the Ferris -v- Union game is going to have to figure out how to score. Those are two solid defensive teams, it will be tough to get the puck in the net.

The speed of the game, the physical nature of the game, freaking incredible. You have to be a top notch athlete to compete in hockey. I was pretty decent at baseball, better at Football, and can survive on a basketball court. Hockey is beast mode. Love me some hockey.

I would follow hockey more if Tennessee had a team. Can't get excited about the preds or any pro hockey for that matter, but if they where wearing orange it might be a different story.

The Preds are killing it now (just beat Chicago on 6-1 yesterday) they're 4th in the Western Conference...you should go to a game - it's relatively inexpensive and they're a lot of fun. Stay at my hotel and you can walk to the game and back.

I agree, the Preds are a lot of fun. I used to go to Red Wings games when I lived back home. I really miss that atmosphere. But the Preds games are an excellent experience, and a very good team. (and they have Ice Girls. Google it)

And UT does have hockey, but it is just a club sport.

Sadly, not a very good team. but it would still be cool to watch. They were 2-15 this year.

Guess I should have clarified, I've been to several Preds games and they are a blast to go to. I just can't sit at home and watch the games and keep up with the team on a day to day basis. I guess its just a lack of interest. But going to a game is a different story. Do they still have those nachos at the concession stand? They where like 9 dollars or so but by far the best nachos i've ever had
