We've seen nights like that. Hope we don't see as many this year. One would think that with all the shooters we have the all wouldn't go ice cold in the same game, but it's basketball. Stuff happens.

They got beat by Hawaii early one year but ended up having great year IZZO is great IMO.

This is why college basketball is so fun! Don't get me wrong I love college football... but the competitive gap is so large you pretty much know who is going to win when you have games vs P5 schools vs the lower schools.

For example: UConn had zero chance against us and everyone knew it. It wasn't about whether or not we'd win, it was at what point will we put the backups in. It pretty much had the same excitement level as an exhibition game vs Lenior-Rhyne.

I would say they brought their A game against the Vols, but played down to the competition in their season debut.

James Madison isnt awful. They went 22-11 last year. And Michigan State has these type games every year it seems.

More upsets happen in college basketball than any of the other major sports because of the parity on rosters.

Isso will use this game as a teaching tool while James Madison's players and fan base have a cool memory to look back upon for the rest of their life times.
