Michigan vs Indiana

Michigan ate up half the first quarter just with that lone drive (ending in a 30 yard FG). 3-0.

Yea

Yeah but I don’t want them to be. Let me hate 😜
But of all to hate on, why hate on them? That’s like hating on Wake Forest or Utah state.

If anything, hate more on Michigan. After blatantly cheating on such a scale to win a national championship and succeeding, they frankly deserve much worse of a season than 6 wins and a bowl game.

If IU is already behind UT when the former is undefeated and the latter has one loss to Arkansas, then once Ohio State likely utterly blows their doors off, a 1-loss Indiana is going to still end up behind Tennessee, even if the Vols lose to UGA too.

Curious but why do you think OSU is gonna blow their doors off?

56 yard FG by Michigan is good. 17-9 Indiana with 16 seconds left in the 3rd quarter.

Michigan just had another half-of-the-quarter-long drive to end the 3rd quarter.

I've got this game up on split screen. That Michigan kicker would have hit from 70, he kicked the piss out of that.

Michigan’s doing the norm for “having to play a quick high scoring offense that’s designed around making teams have to play from behind and have to pass more to try to score quickly and catch up.” (Think like what 2022 UGA did to 2022 Tennessee).

They’re controlling the ball, running as much clock as they can on longer drives to limit/lessen the number of opportunities Indiana’s offense gets with the ball.

Indiana got a total of 2 drives the last quarter, and Michigan had 10 minutes of possession out of that last 15 minute quarter.

And now their defensive line pressured hard and forced a quick 3 and out to start the 4th quarter: so now it’s Michigan’s ball again.

TD Michigan after 4th and goal at the 1. Here might be where the wheels fall off. Especially if IU has another 3 and out.

I love rooting for "basketball schools" like this to compete in football. That's the only reason I love seeing it. It makes me frustrated as a Carolina fan seeing it on the other hand.
