NW is probably the worst major conference basketball program. They've never even made the NCAAT.

But yeah, you're right in football. I root for them but they don't have the same level of players as the top Big 10 teams.

I should have been more clear with my statement about their basketball team. I meant that they will look like they could make the tournament on rare occasions and then fail. I think they came close a few years ago but lost one of their last games which might have got them in.

I'll agree they're overrated, but they did beat Stanford and a pretty good Duke team.

Michigan has a good team it shows what a very good coach can do with a down program.
