I think this is the year that Jimmy Harbough finally breaks thru and wins a natty. Michigan is going to be really good this season they return alot of guys. What are some of you guys predictions for winning it all in CFB this year? My playoff predictions are Georgia, Michigan, Florida St and Southern Cal. I think Georgia will really miss Stetson too much and replacing some other guys will be too much to complete the 3 peat plus it’s just really really hard to 3 peat. I’m really high on Southern Cal and FSU in doing big things this season that’s why I have them in the 4 team playoff.

Michigan is always great until they play a great team outside their conference. GA is the team to beat this season. They can coast through most of their games, rotating the water-boys for most of the season, so they'll be fresh.

FSU isn’t deep enough but has good starting 22 talent. I don’t think Michigan is going to be physical enough to win it all, Georgia physically dominated them two years ago and tcu beat them last year. Watching the OSU game back, they actually weren’t as dominant in that game as you would think based on scoring margin. I don’t think USC will make the playoffs at all, never seen a good Lincoln Riley defense and until I do I think they play too many good qbs to go undefeated or only lose once.. they have to beat Utah who is a physical team.
all that to say I don’t have enough conviction to predict really any team in the playoffs except I think UGA and the sec west champ. So kudos for conviction.

A reasonably good chance. SEC slips up this year and the Big Ten finally gets a natty again. You really want Georgia to 3 peat?? SEC has won the last 4 every once in a blue moon they won’t win the natty although it’s been rare since 2006. Michigan gets the big trophy this year book it.

The thing with both Michigan and OSU is it’s so hard to know what you have with either of them, and they’re so erratic. How does U of M dominate OSU and then go on to lose to TCU? How does OSU lose like that to Michigan and then come within a whisker of beating Georgia?

You can never count on the Big Ten heavyweights, but you can never count them out, either.

Oh puhleaze.

Hairball will crap the bed against the Suckeyes this year. They will then bomb their bowl game like always and finish up 11-2 ish. Normal Meeechigan season. I'm surprised you haven't seen the movie by now.

They have beat Ohio St. the last two years and won the Big Ten the last two years.

OSU had uga beat until uga unleashed its typical dirty play and knocked Harrison out of the game with a late, cheap shot. That deflated osu just enough for uga to pull away.

If you want an image of uga football in a nutshell, recall the knee-hunter shot on Tuttle, then uga putting the OL who did it on the freaking UT ticket the following season. Klassy with a K.

That piece of trash literally cost him a 1st round draft pick.

You’re right. Teams never make the playoff once or twice, lose and then get told they’ve hit their ceilings. They’re chokers, they can’t win a title, they always get in their own way.

I mean look at Clemson and Georgia! Those programs will NEVER EVER get over the hump.

I mean, we just made a coffee table book over going 11-2, so I'm not sure we should be crapping on it.
