Midland Texas- any one ever been there?

Thinking of applying for a job there. Work has slowed here. There's work just not enough.

Been there several times. Personally, I wouldn't want to live there but it is a booming town. One of the partners here grew up in Midland back in the 50's and loves it.

Corpus can be a nice town. Of course I have to be near water, lakes or ocean.

In fire protection 20+ years. Spent 5 years in Texas and that was enough. Saw all it I wanted. Im from Tn and live here now. Corpus is nice. Plus padre islands not far. Good coastal fishing. Texas is booming right now.
