I didn’t even know he was back in college.
I spent a good bit of time chatting with MB when he was here. Super nice guy. Obviously smarter than Butch, but I can’t say he felt like a football guy.

I was never quite able to figure out if his move from Tennessee OC to Tampa Bay QB coach was a demotion or lateral move. I think the money was basically the same, but he went to a job where he was responsible for an offense to a job where he coached one position.

I know it's Northwestern and they don't expect much, but it's actually kind of a risky proposition for him given how bad they were this year. And the reason they were so bad was largely offense (they lost games in which their defense allowed only 17, 24, 13, 20, and 24 points). Fitz fired his previous OC who had been there 12 years. They'll want to see immediate improvement.
