Mike Gundy sued by fired contractor

Good for Gundy. I'd do the same thing if a builder shows up wearing a Bama shirt to my house. The minute I see it, it tells me something one thing, this guy is a dumbass and will probably F-up the job.

Gundy hired the dude based on work he had seen that the guy did on a relative's house. Not like he hired him off the street or Craig's list. Gundy is a freak.

Obviously knew who's house he was working at and was looking for a reaction. You don't go to Home Depot on your first day on the job with a Lowes T-shirt on.

Still don't change the fact that if some jackhole shows up wearing a Bama shirt to my house to work, there's a good chance that he ain't making in my house. :)

Damn is it Football time or what!?!

I agree with you if this is true.

This guy could have potentially had another job lined up and lost out on it because he took this job. And he wasn't fired over the quality of his work but over a t-shirt. What a joke.

According to the lawsuit, Gundy arrived at the house at 9:30 a.m. and spotted Loveland's shirt. "How dare you come into my house and offend my wife," Gundy allegedly said.

Gundy then allegedly used profanity as he told the contractor to get off his property.

Gundy called Loveland a "stupid idiot" for wearing the shirt on "OSU soil," and refused Loveland's apologies, the lawsuit says. The contractor offered to turn his shirt inside-out, but was refused, according to the suit.

I hope this didn't happen but if it did, F Gundy and hopefully he'll find himself on the end of a few losing seasons. That's absolutely ridiculous for a 45 year old man to cost someone money and hurl insults at them because of a shirt. That's white trash

I think the contractor is a stupid idiot too. What did he think was going to happen?

He is the face of a program that plays little brother to OU. Do you think it's in his best interest to get his property photographed with a contractor in a OU shirt doing work on his house? You would think that if, as you said this was such a big and profitable project for the contractor that he might turn on his light when he got dressed.
I learned how to dress myself a long time ago, if you can't do that as a "man" or if you were purposely trying to troll the person who is paying for your well being, then i have no pity on you getting ****-canned.

If a guy showed up to my house not knowing my fan allegiance, I wouldn't fire him over an Alabama shirt. I would just avoid talking to him as long as I could. However, If the guy knows that I'm Derek Dooley, and he shows up with a Bama shirt on, he will get fired before he can even ring the doorbell. Ultimate troll contractor got what he was asking for, a reaction. If you won't like the reaction, then don't cause it.
