To be fair he hired Bruce. Which made us relative again.
And he also left Bruce out to dry when he could have helped him before he interviewed with the NCAA which might have prevented the entire mess from ever happening. Most people don't know the entire story. Hamilton was the worst AD in UT history
Truer words were never spoken. A real AD would have been in contact with the NCAA during the investigation and would not have let the coaching staff get blindsided by any of the questions. It was a set up from the beginning.
And none of this makes up for hiring Kiffin and Dooley (both had losing records) for football and that idiot Todd Raleigh for baseball (a worst hire than Dooley). Then when you factor in the men's track debacle and the grades, the money deficit, etc. Hamilton should be called the Human Death Penalty.
The worst AD in SEC history.
Right on. I hate what he did to my school. He should stay in Africa and help the people there because he sure f'd up UT sports.Truer words were never spoken. The thing that Kills me the most about Hamilton is that he turned down Brian Kelly for Lane Kiffin, and worse...Kevin Sumlin for Derek Dooley. Mind blowing.
