I find it somewhat strange that with all of the HC jobs changing up this year that no one has picked him up. Did the shed fiasco really hurt him that bad? Is he being offered and turning down jobs? The man is a hell of a coach and would do wonders for any team.

Might help his suit against Tech if he remains unemployed...suit against Tech might be hurting him in getting a job. Things will probably shake out once the suit is over.

I think him being a nut and a mediocre head coach has something to do with it, too.

Cracks me up when I see people like the two above me say he isn't a good coach as it is clear they have zero clue what they are talking about...Leach had a strong winning record every year at Texas Tech and took them to a bowl game every year he was there...He also beat Oklahoma every other year as well...Let me repeat what I just said, He won at TEXAS TECH....The big 12's version of Miss St..He never had a losing record there and had one of the most exciting offenses in football..He's a damn good coach...Yes nutty as a fruit cake but saying he's a bad coach shows exactly what you know about football....Very little

He is an A OC tho...I would be very afraid of a team that picked him up in that capacity.

CPF is still available too. Dont see a need to start a thread about him though. Just sayin, IMO.

Amazing. You just described Tommy Bowden, Larry Coker, and Glen Mason. They're not up to much these days either.

if he doesn't sue he lets espn and spaeth comm win and has no chance to clear his name and the cloud follows him forever.. if one cares to read all the depositions it becomes clear that Craig was a monumental little league dad vying for playing time for his son, it also coincided with an 800k bonus and an extra 1.5 mil or so he would have been due less than three weeks after the incident.... catch 22.. if he sues it will hold up job offers until the truth comes out... if he doesn't he's implicitly admitting guilt... i don't know of anyone here that wouldn't sue if he were in fact innocent... nevertheless... he will coach again and soon... and that team's offense will explode

As long as he's not coaching UT, I could care less where this nut job ends up. Maybe he could coach in the CFL eh?

This. We will dig this thread up when he is 2 years into a program and see what kind of difference he has made.

Leach will land somewhere eventually. I'll admit, there have been some opening Im surprised he did not go to. The running joke on Texags is that he's being turned away a lot. Whether he was turned away, or didnt bother to throw his name in, I dont know for certain. Regardless, I think the guy will coach in the NCAA within the next 2 years.

The Bowden brothers need to get themselves some eyepatches and a Jolly Roger. They'll be back in the big time in a hurry.

The one coaching North Alabama has a pretty good gig.

Take daddy's dropouts and Saban's rejects and beat up on all the other teams at that level.
