Mike Leach will never coach again

Once all this is settled he will eventually get pulled in somewhere as an assistant where he can be hidden and controlled. If he ever head coaches again it will be in FCS or D2.

That's crazy....crazy enough to actually happen.

I'd love to see Leach in the SEC, and perhaps make USCjr a little more competitive.

I can't see that happening, but either way, we don't want USCjr to be any more competitive than it is today. The SEC is tough enough as it is

It would only make our conference look that much better if USCjr won a few more games each year. Not saying an SEC East powerhouse, but a few upsets now and again would keep things interesting. It would be a nice change to not have the East be a 3 horse race every year. Then again, it is probably better it doesn't happen. Cock fans' heads would explode if they ever actually did anything significant in football.

Mike Davis and our former former coach are in the same demand for the same open top level coaching jobs.

If he does not stfu for two seconds. Every time he talks he is separating himself further and further from any coaching future. He needs this stuff to go away or he will not get hired anytime in the near future.
Leach claims Tech officials conspired to fire him - ESPN

I must have missed the part where Leach said anything at all. If half the stuff his attorneys are alleging is true, he'll get paid, somebody will hire him and TTU will look like the dumb hicks they are.

I believe everything will work out in Leach's favor. I have never believed the allegations was true. Just a butthurt player and his father making claims cause his son sucks too bad to play 1st string.

Remember all the people that wanted him here?

And I wouldn't have been upset if we'd hired him.

Find another coach who won that many games at Texas Tech. For that matter, find one who came close without ending up on probation.

The guy who won the three straight FCS titles at App State coached Texas Tech for five years, and had a terrible record. The two coaches who came after him got put on probation.

I'm surprised Al Davis hasn't given him a lifetime contract yet.

I feel certain Mike will land somewhere within the next year or so. Possibly a Florida school.

Yeah,Schnellenberger is like 90 or so, UCF could be looking after this year as well. I could see him at Ole Miss as well since Nutt was looking around.

Yeah, that national championship winning coach from Notre Dame couldn't do it, and that national championship winning coach from Florida hasn't done it, so turning the program into a pirate ship is the obvious road to glory.

I think you might be overestimating the power of the force within Leach.

Don't you remember how dominant Kentucky was with him coordinating the Air Raid?
