The interim title was dropped. Wonder what this means for Sandberg?

He'll end up elsewhere, kind of like when Mattingly waited patiently only to get passed over. Theres probably a bit of animosity there now.

I've been laughing at this all afternoon.

No way in the world Ryno waits around in that organization. He's done well at every level he's coached at. If he's not in the bigs in 2011 I guarantee he will in 2012.

can we officially go ahead a make it 103 and 104 years in a row? at least if quade stinks the place up even more than what it is now, the cubbies will have an excuse.

Got some rumblings down here that the Marlins are interested in Sandberg...Quite honestly I like the man and I think He would do good down here...I guess time will tell.

i think sandberg will be a great manager at the big league level. I believe he would even be an upgrade over some managers right now. either way, i truly believe the cubs made a mistake not giving him the job. He would be a guy that could come in to a new job and instantly garner respect. quade.....not so much. they will regret this.

Quade hired THE Pat Listach away from the Nats to be his bench coach.
