Every year he appears to be in trouble, every year they pick off a ranked team in November.

Sucks for Zona. This is the sort of win that gets you a contract extension in the Pac-10. I think Mike Stoops has proven at this point he can't take Arizona to the top of the Pac.

From afar I thought Zona would have a better than average team. Shows just what I know! Then I start to doubt MS and last night happens.

^ That's what I'm saying... Mike Stoops fields an utterly mediocre team for most of the year, until November rolls around, and just when you think Arizona is finally just about to put him on the hot seat, he beats a ranked team or Arizona State.

didnt they announce stoops was returning prior to this game? im pretty sure they did.

he has done a pretty mediocre job. bringing in sonny dykes was a good move though. they will have their very good qb back next year and a rb with experience. it will probably be his last chance to have a solid season.

they lose a decent amount on defense. i'd be suprised to see them better next year. tui isn't that great of a qb. he was 11th in the pac-10 in passing rating last year. that's right 11th!

he has always impressed me in their games i've seen. with an often complete lack of a run game he throws 40,50, even 60 passes a game and his stats are a lot better this year.

nate's been injured. his numbers before the injury were vastly superior to any numbers tui has ever put up.

And Nate's hype has been vastly superior to Tui's. I'd say Tuitama is the 3rd least talked about QB in the Pacific 10, ahead of only Stanford and WSU's guys.

when they played cal according to the guys calling the game you'd think he was a returning heisman winner. trust me for a kid with that bad of a resume he get's amazing hype.

im not basing anything on hype, im simply saying he has played well when ive seen him and he has to throw a LOT more then most qbs.

longshores hype was based on very impressive numbers last season. everyone is overhyped, who cares, just look at what they do. how is JDB doing in the heisman race for example..

thing is, no one in Tucson really cares about football for more than 1-2 games per year. They are bball fans (almost exclusively)

Fulmer has to be football's Rasputin. All we hear about is how this guy clutches up when his back is against the wall from his defenders...
