LSU: Les Miles is in Dallas interviewing several defensive coordinator candidates, according to Baton Rouge Advocate LSU beat writer Ross Dellenger. Dean Blevins of News 9 in Oklahoma City reported Saturday that Oklahoma defensive coordinator Mike Stoops is among that group, and that Blevins expects Stoops to be offered the job tonight…and then take a couple of days to consider. Coaches we have spoken with about Stoops’ potential fit say “that would be a drastic change from the type of coach on Les’ 2014 staff”. We’ll keep you updated as we hear more. For what it is worth, sources we spoke with this AM said they didn’t expect a hire today

Just read an article that seems to imply that Miles may be either on the hotseat or possibly expected to leave. Was a statement in Chief's new contract where they weren't going to pay him much if Miles wasn't the coach. Could be a standard statement for assistants but it sounded like it was something new.

I think Miles should be on the hotseat. LSU should be better than they are and they seem to be getting worse.

I think that he's receiving a little scrutiny after this year. The shakeup with Chavis leaving was a good start.

Another Stoops in the SEC...what's next? Big Game Bob takes over at Vandy?

I have to give Miles a little bit of a break because he basically loses half his starters every year to the draft
