Mike stated he dreaded going to home games because of some stupid clowns sitting close to him. Said these people think they know everything about FB when they actually know nothing and he's fed up with their yelling stupid stuff. Mike also said that if he were a prize recruit he wouldn't come to Tennessee because of all the junk you hear from some supposedly fans. I do know that some parents of recruits in Georgia have said their sons are no longer considering Tennessee because of some BS they've heard from people at UT home games.

If you don't think kids take this sort of stuff into account when choosing at school you're wrong because if they don't think about it first, it's quickly pointed out to them by rival college recruiters.

I know exactly what you mean. You are referring to "The Guy" that we talked about a couple of weels ago that sits in the stadium second guessing every single move and is vocal about it because he thinks he's much smarter and funnier than he really is.

I'm sorry but I've NEVER been to ANY stadium that this hasn't taken place. There are experts in every stadium. If recruits' parents are that upset over UT fans I dare them to find a place anywhere that this is not taking place....

1. No that stuff shouldn't happen but it does and it happens at EVERY Major College with Football

2. If that is the case with Georgia Recruits UT doesn't need them PERIOD!

That's retarded. It happens in every stadium, in every sport, at every level. Just another tired KNS story trying to get a rise out of the locals.

I'm always too busy thinking about how people should sit in their seats to expend energy towards the playcalling.

I'm always too busy yelling about the play-calling to think about the fact that everybody around me is too big for their seats.

How would a stiff like Stowell have any idea what an elite recruit would think?

I've got an idea. Why don't Stowell and Wil Overrated use all the money Overrated stole from the Falcons to buy a radio network where they all sit around and talk about how the fans shouldn't criticize anything? Stowell is only given a voice because outlets like the KNS are bought off and have to kiss up to the administration to keep their access. Ask Jamal Lewis, Dale Carter,Carl Pickens, Deon Grant and some other guys who actually did something here what they think about the state of the program.

That crap goes on everywhere! Im still laughing from the SC pregame, when some idiot dressed in his best Orange and Power T decided to stand up and scream you suck, along with some serious four letter words at Peyton.
His bloody nose by unknown persons got him and his wife/gf removed before KO.

Every team has it's own version of Freddy Kruger, a little bit out there.I see UT fans I would hate to be sitting by at games-strange.Maybe this has something to do with all of the empty whiskey bottles in the bathroom stalls.

To say that this sort of behavior goes on everywhere is NOT AN Acceptable Excuse. That's like saying everybody cheats on their tax returns so it's okay. If I were chief of Security at Neyland Stadium I would do exactly what the Atlanta Falcons's Security people do. I would throw these jerks asses out of the Stadium and they wouldn't get any refund on tickets either. You run your mouth in an abusive manner in the Ga Dome during a Falcons game and your butt is going out the door w/o getting any refund on your ticket and that's the way it should be.

Hey hot shot you're probably one of those people Mike is talking about. Mike Stowell has probably forgotten more about FB than you'll ever know.

I was at the ND game and their fans were getting restless with Weis when things got to 21 - 21! They calmed down pretty quickly though

ND might not have had as many of "those fans" but the stadium wasn't very loud either. The made noise at times but nothing that you would consider very disruptive to the opposing team. Very quiet at other times.

The good goes with the bad - passionate crowds will always be a positive and negative.

At $45 a ticket, does that clown expect Tenn fans to sit in their seats and sing "Kum By Yah" with the crappy product Fulmer is putting on the field this year. We're lucky any fans show up at all.

People react to the product on the field.

I don't care what any of you homers say, a fan with any experience can tell whether or not a team is performing well, and if they are well coached or not

Sometimes former players and coaches are too close to the action to be objective especially if they are part of the MEDIA.

I know several former players, two of which are immediate relatives who were stars for the Vols, and both of them continually stated that coaching changes were necessary.....four freakin years ago.
