Just heard that he refused to answer the bell for the 5th round and said he just didn't have the heart to fight anymore. Also saying that he doesn't want to disgrace the sport any further and will never fight again.

What a pitiful way to end it. Hard to believe this is the same guy that was invincible in the late 80s.

You better watch it OWB.  He'll eat your children.

Well, I do have a couple of those. I'm glad that Tyson is giving it up. He's not good for the sport anymore..

He hasn't been good for it since he went to prison in 1990. Hard to believe it's been 15 years since he was the undisputed champ.

I enjoyed watching him in his younger years though. Now, it's just kind of pitiful. He some good KO's back in the day.

I guess there's now officially no chance of them ever coming out with another edition of Super Punchout. Tyson now IS Glass Joe.

You've got to turn to ESPN for Mike Tyson unplugged. He's on a roll.

It's surreal to hear Tyson sounding like he has a grasp of reality. It's like all the anger has been sucked out of him. He's thanking people and talking about missionary work. :dunno:

Just don't cry around him because he doesn't know how to handle that. He's not sensitive anymore...

Yeah - that was really, really, really wierd. That and when he started talking about his philosophy of life????

I think the docs have him on too much Zoloft or something. It is a strange world when Mike Tyson starts doing missionary work...

Hey . . . Why not? It's almost a carbon copy of what happened to George Foreman.

Well, as long as there aren't starving children biting each others ears off, I guess that I am fine with it..

Great for children and ears....

I bet that he will end up having a reality show...

His life has been a reality show. That's why there were people that actually bought the fight tonight on PPV. You never know what's going to happen next with that guy.

If this means I won't be seeing him on TV anymore, I am very happy
