I think Les won two titles and just became stale. Jimbo ran FSU into the ground before he left so I would say no.

Has anyone ever gotten more mileage out of a single national championship than Jimbo Fisher? How much $ has he squeezed out of aTm because of it? He can recruit, but he’s the definition of mediocre as a coach. Even when he manages to beat Alabama he ends up going 8-4.

Our own former coach should be mentioned here as well. Fulmer squeezed 10 years out of his NC. In addition to having a AD at the time, that gave him extensions for mediocrity and a golden parachute contract, requiring only 8 wins a year.

At least (or most) Mack beat App St last week on App's home turf. Jimbo...not so much.

Mediocre coach for a mediocre program. Plus they both have an inflated sense of self worth. Match made in heaven. Plus once Texas comes into the league aTm going to lose a lot of recruiting advantages.

Kelly has a DII Natty only and 10yrs/$95M.
