The UTAD is going away from hiring coaches in training for these jobs, trying to get quality people who will stay for years. Great hire, based on the resume and knowledge of the program.

Softball made a similar hire, moving in their event management guy. Women's basketball hired a former football ops guy last year. Good strategy, IMO.

Rachel is one of the most organizationally sound, and plan driven people I have encountered. She will do great things in her current role.
