ESPN is showing the Hawaii-Oregon St. game tomorrow night. 7pm HST, so I think that's 9pm west coast where I think you are?

I know you wanted to see them this year.

Yep. I'll be watching.

Big trap game for OSU. The Beavs are coming off their best win of the season, and I believe they've already accepted their Sun Bowl bid, which West Virginia could still possibly play in. Not to mention the always-distracting trip to Hawaii.

Either way, I gotta see Hawaii's offense in action. It's their second chance at a statement game after just falling short of Bama.

Yep, I'm looking forward to watching the fireworks.

June Jones got all ballsy last week after the Purdue win and made the claim UH could beat anyone in the nation. He's done alot this year, but I thought he got into a little bit much Maui Wowie before the press conference.

I figured Glanville would have made a bigger impact on the defense this year, but their recruiting classes generally suck, so I reckon I can see why they haven't.If they can get some marquee wins, they might become a little more attractive to kids wanting to get to the land of sun, beaches and babes.

Man, I thought the game was on tomorrow. It's listed as a Sunday game because it's on midnight EST...

It's nice. I got a friend in the USMC stationed there. I talk to him from time to time late at night.

It is, although it tends to get a tad lonely late in the day here. I like being able to watch games early tho, and still be able to do things later.

That's nuts... it may "mean" more, but a win over Southern Cal is huge.

Well, it was bigger before today, anyway.

Oh well. USC is still split Pac-10 champ with Cal, and going to the Rose Bowl.

Interesting note about the Pac-10, with Cal's split title, every Pac-10 team has claimed at least a share of the title since 1993.

As far as I know, the Big Ten is the only other conference with each of its members to claim a conference title, although it took 38 years compared to the Pac-10's 13.

UH moving the ball well first 2 possessions.

2 missed FG's tho with the wind gusting in Aloha Stadium.

Ore. St. 3 and and out on their only posession so far.

7-7 after each team's next possession.

Brennan still needs 3 TD's to take the TD record.

Ore. St. wins 35-32

2 2nd Half Brennan INT's seal it

Brennan threw another TD, so needs 1 TD to tie Klingler's TD record, 2 to set a new mark.

It was a good game for sure from both sides. Neither team could really stop each other's offense for the most part.

Brennan threw an INT to Piscatelli into the endzone when Bess fell down, then got picked again by Piscatelli on a nice break on a thrown ball. UH stopped them cold after, then drove down for a TD. UH stopped them again on the ensuing possession, then had a great chance to convert a 4th and 14 deep in O St. territory with an open receiver, but Brennan threw it short.

UH's defense held those last 2 O St. possessions, but UH could only convert 1 into points, other than a safety O St. took running out of the endzone to run the clock down after UH stopped them on their last possession.

Sabby Piscitelli is one of the most underrated players in the nation. IMO an All-American quality safety. He's probably the most popular player in Corvallis... Him or Joe Newton. That says a lot, especially considering he's not a west coast guy.

He played a great game. Most of Brennan's throws weren't near him courtesy of the Run & Shoot design, but the ones that were met with an untimely demise for the most part.

Ore. St. running all the way back to the endzone from about the 20 to chew up clock was a great call. I think they didn't want to have to give UH the ball again with a chance to break a punt return like they did earlier for big yards, or have the punter fumble it away like he did earlier. I considered it a nod of respect to the UH offense which still gained ~500 yds.
