I wish I wasn’t seeing what I saw but I’ve been watching this game for 40+ years and Mel row is the kind of quarterback that wins national championships. Big, fast, live arm and good decisions for the most part. If he doesn’t get hurt, he is the difference in big games because it’s almost impossible to defend him without giving up huge chunks. Then factor in the true freshman receiver and it just seems unfair, that guy was ridiculous last night. He looked like he was on a different level physically than all the other guys out there and he is 17!! I also know you have to play the game and win it on the field so I’m not saying Tennessee can’t win.

We will take Georgia’s scheme from the 2nd half, and our defense can stop him.
I want you to be right, but I’ve seen quarterbacks like him and they almost never get completely stopped. You can contain them for 2-3 quarters and then all the sudden they make a huge play and change the score instantly and the whole game changes.

Bama went much more conservative on offense in the 2nd half, so I don't think that's necessarily the blueprint for stopping him.

Frankly, he's the kind of QB no one can really stop (similar to Joe Burrow). We'll just have to keep up, similar to the 2022 Bama game with Bryce Young.

They both played lights out.
Last night was the first time I have watched Ryan Williams, and he really did look like an All-American at 17. He and Milroe both looked like men against boys. They are a problem.

How did you figure out that receiver is only 17 years old?

Milroe is like Jalen Hurts. Except he seems to throw the ball a bit better.

Milroe is good, but the kid makes them go. He's as important to them as Hyatt was to us in 2022. He must be covered. And Milroe must be contained in the pocket. And then crushed.

Georgia was or disciplined in their rush lanes. And they aren't as good on the defensive line as they've been in the past. No Jalen Carter. No big Jordan Davis. Different day for the Dawgs. They still good. Not devastatingly elite like they've been.

The kid is good, he just plays so naturally, the 17 yr old that is.

I mean how did Bama get a guy like Ryan Williams? A 17 year old that looks as good as any WR in the nation. I know it’s been said but I was really hoping Bamas recruiting would slip. It ain’t happening. And Deboer looks like he is gonna do just fine in the SEC.
