With Milton's stats last night, will he earn SEC offensive player of the week again?

His receiver corp should run the stairs today like Majors used to make players do. The receivers were dismal last night. Poor route running at times, muliple drops (even when Joe was a bit off many should have neen caught).

How many penalties against the receivers, 3? How does any team have 3 penalties on receivers in a season let alone in one half of one game.

For what? Milton needs to stop the overthrows, underthrows, and better reads on when to pull the ball and run. No honors this week

Why did he earn that last week? Very similar numbers. Milton didn't drop passes in his hands or close enough to catch them. He also didn't fumble a caught pass......

Last night was a combo of Milton overthrowing and receivers dropping passes they should catch too… everyone (except RB’s) seemed sluggish and out of sync early; then when we finally got in sync refs decided to start trying to get involved…

I’m saying what he said in his presser… he admitted some of the throws were a little off; that said I feel there were balls that hit receivers hands that shoulda been pulled in

Nope. Spencer Rattler will likely earn that honor this week with 345 yards of passing.

I watched several throws the WRs should have caught.

Maybe you should rewatch the game or get a brain scan.
Maybe you should rewatch and learn how football works. I watched several throws behind a target or leaving WRs out to dry. 2 of those same WRs had no issue catching the ball last year with a good QB. So bad that we had to resort to screens for the rest of the game. I saw 2 bad drops by Thornton. The rest were very difficult catches.

We are humans. We need to use the part of our brains that can see the shades of gray... read between the stat line. The opening of the game 1 for 8 for whatever reason will disqualify him. He did not look as sharp as last week. For the record I am not in the bench Milton camp.

What? Absolutely not. Yes the WR's dropped some and Milton missed on a handful plus himself. When you're completion avg is in the 6 yards per pass category, that's really bad. Did he compete anything over 5 yards downfield outside of Castle's TD? This is a situation where stats are very misleading. He wasn't good and neither was his WR's. Was a group effort!

You just need to post solid video or picture evidence of your claims.....
I guarantee you rewatch yesterday's game and you'll see all the video evidence you need. Half his incompletions were dropped, while the others were badly off.

I know it appears that the league is down a fair amount this year, but to think that performance Saturday warrants player of the week mention is insane.
