If he blows the doors off Vandy and Michigan falls to Ohio State could we see them square off in a ny6 bowl?? You know every ny6 bowl game would take that matchup before anything else. The only problem is if Milton is super impressive he could all the sudden shoot up draft boards and be gone but then again it’s hard to think 2 qb’s getting drafted would be bad for us in the long run. What do y’all think?

I feel because what we did last night the big 10 loser between Ohio st and Michigan may benefit and get in too. If USC loses and Clemson loses no matter if TCu wins or loses the Ohio st Michigan winner and loser may be in.

Here are all of the bowl tie-ins.
Sugar Bowl gets the highest ranked Big12 and SEC teams not in the playoffs.

I thought it was very Ironic that 2 ex Oklahoma QBs have HEISMAN performances on the same day. Rattler and Kaleb Williams at USC played lights out in a shootout with UCLA.

Yep.

If he even throws one pass perfectly for an 80 yard score against Vandy, you'd have to think he would go pro.

There's really no debate.

Odd that it took an entire season and thrashing from Florida for Beamer to take the shackles off and let Ratler cut it loose. Brilliant coaching in one game from Beamer.

At this point, looking at today's AP ranking, which isn't likely to change much, unless I'm missing something, even the Citrus may be a reach for us, being behind LSU and Bama in rankings?

SEC Bowl Tie-Ins, Affiliations
1. Sugar Bowl vs. Big 12
SEC Champion goes here if not in the College Football Playoff, or highest-ranked SEC team

2. Vrbo Citrus Bowl vs. Big Ten
The Citrus Bowl gets its pick of the top SEC team available after the CFP and Sugar Bowl are in place

The SEC will assign teams to the respective bowls in this pool.

AutoZone Liberty Bowl vs. Big 12
Duke’s Mayo Bowl vs. ACC
Mercari Texas Bowl vs. Big 12
Outback Bowl vs. Big Ten or ACC
TaxSlayer Gator Bowl vs. ACC
TransPerfect Music City Bowl vs. Big Ten

UT and Michigan would actually be pretty cool. We mop up the stadium with them and Bazooka Joe gets to laugh at them. Poetic.

Watch Hooker benefits from this system. All of a sudden he's a NFL QB. Garbage. He'll hold a clipboard. Never start a game

He’s probably not going to be an NFL QB. It’s a different game. It means nothing as far as how good of a college QB he is. Heupel deserves tons of credit for developing him into that great QB, but that doesn’t mean he’s trash. Plenty of great college QBs never make an impact in the pros.

Hooker played well enough to get us to the playoffs. We are probably struggling for bowl eligibility without him this year and would have missed one entirely last year.

Jerry Palm projects Tennessee to the Cotton Bowl. He currently has LSU in the Sugar Bowl and Alabama in the Orange Bowl.
