Mike Leach. Forget Fulmer, bring in crazy pirate guy. He would definitely bring some excitement to that program. If he uses his Texas Tech model there, he would be a nightmare for the Big 10(or whatever it becomes).

Discuss if you care.

That might not be a bad idea....Fulmer says thet have the facilities to compete. Maybe they could build a giant pirate ship in the endzone ala Tampa Bay...

You think Dennis Erickson is out after this year?

his buyout is pretty low and it's pretty obvious he isn't into it. he may save his arse if he goes to a bowl game, but that doesn't seem very likely. it's scary to think what leach would do at asu with all the talent returning. as long as he didn't screw up the D asu would be a bcs challenger easily.

As a Nashville resident I'm praying Mike Leach gets the Vandy job. The weekly interview on the Zone would be hilarious. Caldwell's are pretty funny now, but I don't see him sticking around.

The only way a team coached by Mike Leach will participate in a BCS bowl will be to appear in the halftime show.

I thought we were done with the Mike Leach fad when he found himself down about 60 points in the biggest game of his coaching career...

Whoa, I don't need to know about that. I do not need to know anything else about his pirate fetish.

first off he got pretty damn close a couple of years ago to a bcs at large.

but let me explain my logic. We know he is an elite offensive coordinator, but he's really never had the defense. asu will return arguably the most talented defense in the conference. doubtful he could screw that up too badly. and the pac-10 probably wont be very good.

I'd hire Leach. Pretty soon Texas Tech is going to pay a big price for wrongful termination. Adam James and his daddy are spoiled and found anyway they could to get him fired and everyone in Celina, Texas will tell you the same.

The only way Tumbleweed Tech would ever get a BCS at large slot is if about 50 teams were on probation. Nobody is inviting them if they have a choice in the matter.

If Leach is hired and wins a PAC 10 title, it will validate all the ridicule SEC and Big 12 fans have heaped on the league.

I give it nil percent chance any school in the league hires him, and even if they do, less that he actually wins it. Every offense in the BXII put up healthy numbers on him with his Texas rejects, the Pac-12 will run a train on his teams with Arizona's modest recruiting base.
