Minnesota was pathetic. Kicking a field goal at the end instead of going for it was such a loser thing.

Agree, all the B1G teams not named Michigan, Ohio State, Oregon, and Penn State should just stop playing football. They all suck and never compete against these goobers.

Teams like Indiana, Purdue, Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, Rutgers, Maryland, Northwestern, etc. have pretty much been worthless for all history. A bunch of Vanderbilts.

Send them your extra recruits that can't crack the 2-deep in 2 years. They can develop but they just don't have much talent outside of the lines and, for whatever reason, safeties.

Penn State has 53 4-star and 5-star players on their roster. Minnesota has 12. If they had half the talent PSU does, they win. They have the same roster talent as Vanderbilt, except Fleck's normally going to put a winning team on the field.

Their NIL isn't where it should be because it's an NFL town and the dozen or so Fortune 500's in town don't gaf besides naming rights.

and yet the national media would have you believe that the Big 10 is right with the SEC as the "premier" conferences. I'm seeing articles today about the 'mediocrity' of the SEC due to all the 2 and 3 loss teams, with the same article ripping the idea of knocking Indiana for their schedule, pointing to their "strength of record"! Since when did that become a metric that is used?

The SEC has three teams (OM, Bama, A&M) who won't make the playoff and would kick Indiana's ass in a second. Hell, I'd take Florida and USCjr straight up against Indiana, and even Dickwitz.

The Big 10 is such a joke that the four Pac 12 teams they absorbed were immediately among the best in the conference. The group you named can also include Nebraska, who hasn't been relevant in 25+ years.

Screw you for choking today.

Screw Army as well for not playing with Notre Dame.
Anyone who thought Navy or Army would be competitive against ND, I have some ocean front property in Knoxville I'll give you a hell of a deal on

It is because the B1G top can compete with the SEC. The issue is the slew of bottom feeders in their league have 0 shot of pulling off upsets so these B1G teams climb the rankings.

No it wasn’t. If you don’t get it and PSU goes down and scores it’s an 11 point game with likely under 3 minutes left. You have to keep it a one score game.

Well they lost
Because they gave up three 4th down conversions and allowed PSU to eat up the last 6 min off the game. If they don’t get it they still lose by 4 instead of 1. The end result after the outcome is known doesn’t mean it’s the right call at the time. Nobody is going for it on 4th and goal from the 7-8 yard line with 6 min and 3 TO’s left. This isn’t Madden on PS5.

Disagree. I read defenses of Indiana's schedule saying they "played a Big 10 schedule" without a hint of irony. And knocking the SEC as 'mediocre' because of the way this conference beats up on each other when aside from perhaps Miss. St. right now there aren't any 'easy' places to play road games. Hell, I read stuff praising Penn State for beating a 'good' Minnesota team when they were lucky to get out with a W..

I generally never root for other SEC teams, but I'll root hard for any one that plays a Big 10 school in this stupid playoff. Aside from Ohio State and Oregon (and maybe Washington and USC a little), I have zero respect for anyone in that league.
