Three errors and nine runners left in scoring position were too much for Tennessee to overcome against No. 3 Vanderbilt, which used a five-run eighth inning to break a close game open late and clinch a series victory with an 8-3 triumph on a rainy Saturday evening at Hawkins Field.

On a positive note, at least there are opportunities to miss now. Under ReTodd we didn't even have the opportunity.

Looks like UT was up against Vandy's ace with Beede. 9 k's in 7.1 innings. 7 & 0 pitching record

Ziomek is our ace. Beede still has to get better control before he becomes our ace. His stuff is electric but the walks make my hair turn gray.

Pfeifer on the bump today. His stuff is great too although the last two starts he hasn't had his best.
