The TN defense was undersized! I don't know if that was just on Botch, or both him and Botch. If he does not insist on them hitting the weights, it will matter little how great his system is, If they are not strong enough to execute.

Has been solid everywhere but UT!
Has a great track record yet some on volnation said he sucked, overrated , bla bla bla.
Probably same ones saying Pruit was only as good as the players he had at Fl st., and Bama. Or that maybe he can’t coach just ordinary players.

I wish he would have been specific. Like undersized, Strength and conditioning, Butch's mental attitude, players not willing to work, ect... We are better this year, but we are not great; therefore, there is so something going on with the players.

Shoop was good at Vandy, PSU and now MSU. Botch botched him up.

People making excuses for Lyle and still trying to bash Shoop is hilarious. Lyle was a control freak, he insisted he knew everything about football and that it ALL had to be done his way. That’s why we had so many highly rated guys talking about coming in and having to learn “technique” and how they were basically learning a new way to play and then on Saturdays would look like garbage. Lyle literally coached the talent and natural abilities out of his players because he insisted they play his way, both offense and defense.
