Does anyone else get the feeling this may be a trap game for Florida? Dan Mullen as we all know was the OC for Florida so he knows the ins and outs of their offense and on top of that what offense do you think the MSU defense has seen the most this year pre and reg season? I know it's just lowly Miss State but this game screams trap to me.

Yeah its a trap game, but you need to remember the Gators have the 12th man wearing the stripes. :good!:

State doesn't have the personnel, but I think Georgia's got a shot to beat 'em.

I think somehow UF will figure out a way to win.

You forgot your typical source of pride regarding championships of late. What gives, couldn't get the nurse to help you undo the knot in your pants string?

Florida takes Alabama overtaking them in the one poll as motivation and awakens on offense.

MSU 3
UF 876

Interesting to see how Mullen plays this. He should know what keys to look for and how best to line up against them. Not enough personnel to do anything about it, but he should get them lined up correctly.

Florida for whatever reason doesn't fare well in the state of Mississippi. Factor that in with Dan Mullen knowing a whole lot about the Gators and yeah i'd say there is a small reason for the Gator faithful to be worried. State doesn't matchup well with Florida, but they didn't the last time these two teams played in Mississippi either.

I hate starkville.

UF is down their top 3 DTs, Spikes is hurt, and they have to play MSU, the #13 rushing team in the country... in starkville...

badness...

I, too, have a bad feeling. Dixon, et al, might repeat Hardesty's success against a depth depleted D. If UF chooses not to open up the offense(show me that the young receivers aren't capable !!), my bad feeling will be around every week. :shakehead::eek:hmy::banghead2::scare::angel::dunno:

The offense is fine. They just have to score TD's in the red zone. That is all.

Another thought... It would be nice to see UF's special teams make more of the significant game changing contributions that we're used to. A few blocked punts, a blocked FG or two, an occasional punt return for TD, and a kickoff return for TD would certainly ignite the efforts of both the offense and defense. IMO, these types of plays REALLY help in road games and close games, in general... duh !

UF should be able to go into Starkville and just destroy MSU. If they can't , they have serious problems.
