If Florida is shut out at home against a team that was shut out just the prior week @ home against Georgia...I'd guess those with the funds force Foley to pull the trigger and appoint an interim for the remainder of the year.

If you pretty much know your are going to let your HC go.. does it make more sense to do it sooner rather than later? It does seem like most organizations wait until the end of the season to start letting coaches go.. but if you've got a dumpster fire (no offense Lawrence), why not go ahead and be the first one on the market for a HC? Or at least see if you have an interim coach that could do a little better.. hell I dunno
