Aw that's cute, the Gamecocks are making the Tigers look halfway competent.

It's 21-14, Gamecocks on their way to winning the Mayors' Cup.

Didn't even know the Columbia thing was an actual thing.

They started it in 2013 or 2014. It's a rivalry trophy that Spurrier, I think, pushed for during Missouri's first year of two in the SEC.

If I'm correct, i think the mayors of both Columbia, MO, and Columbia, SC, went in on getting the trophy for the universities to use for the game or something.

It's clearly minor, but it also kind of works for these two teams (Missouri looking to create newer in-conference rivalries following the move, and South Carolina has often tried - unsuccessfully - to create a stronger in-conference rivalry tie since their move to the SEC... and in their case UGA has been about it, but even that's felt a bit more one-sided on USCe's end than on UGA's end).

21 all. Missouri just threw an INT in the endzone after getting a 1st down at the USCe 42.

Missouri misses a 40 yard FG...another 50 or so yards until the Tigers' defense hits that 400 yard mark.

The Missouri defense has given up 400+ yards of offense to every non-FCS team they've played (USCe is now around 430 or so).

It's 31-21 Gamecocks with 3 minutes left.

31-21 final. Gamecocks on their way to a bowl game.

Missouri's on its way to an Arkansas-esque SEC game losing streak.
