Mizzou got a lot of love Saturday night, and I'm here to say, I'm not impressed.

They start out with South Dakota St, Toledo, UCF, Indiana...a guaranteed 4-0...oops, they lost to Indy...3-1....

They squeaked by SC, got plastered by GA, and beat FL in a once-in-a-lifetime game where no offensive production was needed.

After wins against a terrible Vandy team and KY, they sit at 7-2.

Yee haw...screw Mizzou...they're about to drop 3 straight.

On a side note, how does an SEC team wind up with such a weak schedule, and how do we get their schedule coordinator on board? We need that dude in Knoxville.

We'll enjoy the Oklahoma type games when we're back. Who needs another directional school?

bend but dont break at times on defense. Hard to tell bc of the offenses they have played. Their offense is worse than ours last yr.

I don't disagree, but it would be nice, during this rebuilding process, to win a few more games, make a bowl and get those additional practices. Beating up on scrubs is good practice, too...much better practice than getting plastered by OOC powerhouses and then playing Bammer and whoever is the other best west team every year.

It's mainly their line play, especially on the defensive line. They're effective/efficient at getting sacks and pressure on opposing QBs, really just through the use of their front four defensive linemen.

One of best defenses in nation gets timely turnovers (+7 TO margin) and has a beastly defensive line (29 sacks on year) to counteract second-worst offense in SEC. That's basically all you need to know.

To be fair, though: name a quality win out of those seven and I'll send you a cookie.

There's not one. That's the point. I wonder how many of those 29 sacks came against the top of their schedule.

There's really only one to three this season among all the East teams, isn't there?

UGA over Clemson?

...maybe USCe over UGA and UF over UGA.
