He's not going to be boring when you open up your 401k statement and the S&P500 is trading at 14x earnings.

Just remember LG, this election is coming down to upper middle class baby boomers. Will they vote for more free stuff for "Occupiers" or will they vote with their retirement plan in mind? Pretty simple choice

Except a lot of them still hold W responsible for the last crash which then gets lumped into the GOP not being any better.

I agree with you that the Republican candidate in general has a leg up this election. But the problem is when that "general" becomes Mitt Romney, a "new one is the same as the old one" type of candidate.

Just listened to presser with McCain.

Painful. So incredibly weak.

Do you think Obama is super exciting or something? I can pretty much predict every word out of his mouth before he even says it. Some messiah you have there.

:eek:lol:

Hmmm...Was you looking more for a Obamaesque/Chris Matthews type "Thrill going up my leg" or did you just watch Lawrence O'Donnell last night on MSNBC and see him do a whole segment on this topic as i did...(why i torture my self i don't know)... Sounds like you took notes and got the talking points down pat..........or maybe great minds just think alike.

Even though I dislike Romney, I must say LG is displaying incredible bias here. I especially got a kick out of the "quite remarkable" part. I agree that he's boring. Most politicians are, including your beloved leader. The only time politicians aren't boring is when they are angering me, LOL. Most of the time they're talking they aren't really saying much of anything.

I don't disagree that you don;t get a lot of substance most of the time, regardless of who the politician is.

I am referring to his personal lack of gravitas, his lack of expression, the absence of any excitement ...

It would be nice to have a boring President.

Exactly. We shouldn't be voting someone into office because they are "flashy" or look good on TV. Obama was all hype and no substance. People should've taken their blinders off and seen through it. But everyone wants to feel the warm fuzzies with promises of things that are impossible.

The economy is improving with unemployment 8.5%? Here comes the media white wash. Let's throw a freakin' party because this is the best we are gonna get with Obama. We should all be celebrating.
