You do realize Shaw played almost the whole game vs UT uninjured, right? He was pretty much ineffective throwing the ball all game.

UT has more talent than Mizzou. If the WR's play well then either a healthy Worley or Dobbs can lead the O successfully against their D.

With either of their top two RB's healthy.... UGA blows Vandy out at home in embarrassing fashion. Same if they had two more of their top 5 WR's.

Marlon Walls played as well against USCe as Sam did.

Sam has 10 sacks on the season. He had three each against Vandy and Ark St. He had 3 vs UF and one vs USCe. Their DL and D on the whole is a little undersized and not particularly athletic by SEC standards.

Sam is athletic but small. Tiny is athletic and large.


They do not have great talent. They do have very good coaching and a very good system. Those are the things that worry me... not their players.

Your right, history has never won anyone a ballgame. I expect to see 2 middle of the pack teams playing in Neyland in a few weeks. It should be the biggest UT Vandy game in a long time. I think Vandy takes it cause all we really care about is beating UT!

History has never won anyone a ballgame but fans "really" caring about beating someone has? I mean I assume winning is important for the players.

FWIW, UT has played the #1 and #2 teams in the country. They played UF when they were healthy and UGA when they were much healthier than when they played you. Yet here we sit at the same record with you thinking Vandy wins because you really "care".

Newsflash... UT's players... who are much more talented than Vandy's players are no longer poorly coached. That however will not effect their memories about last year's game. It was a historic embarrassment to lose to Vandy. I don't think motivation will be a problem when the time comes.

Oh, forgot to mention. The combined record of the teams Vandy has beaten is 7-23. Four of those victories belong to a decimated UGA team. IOW's, you have beaten no one.

You are who you've always been with a mouthier coach.

Missouri wins easily against us. We simply don't have the defense to stop them. Auburn will be a similar outcome. Just gotta beat Vandy.

Don't feel as confident about Auburn... but UT has as much of a defense to stop them as USCe had.

UT's DL should whip their OL. UT's OL should whip their DL. Their D gave up a 20/29 201 yd performance to Shaw in a little over one qtr just one week after UT throttled a HEALTHY Shaw.

You still have to win the game and someone protested use of any "transitive" properties... but simply stated... UT is more talented and has match ups that favor them greatly. Mizzou has a very good system. But UT should win this game.

The one caveat is Randolph's health. He needs to play.

And the UT players want to curb stomp Vandy for the first time ever. That game never meant a damn thing to UT till this season; now it's to prove a point.

The Vols HURT Conner Shaw. Don't forget that....and take in his highlight reel and stats. He was ducking and divin all game there Dore. You make it sound like his own lineman stepped on him or something....see ya'll soon (and your Qaddafi son look alike coach.

Go back and rewatch that game. I don't think anyone with vision better than 20/200000 can say that Tyler Bray didn't throw that game. That loss was nothing more than Bray flipping the bird to Dooley as a final farewell. Our offense could have easily hung 50 on Vandy.

I hope you enjoyed your year of the illusion that you were Tennessee's team. Franklin is going right where he belongs this year: the bottom of the food chain.

He has a couple of good runs and has some ability. Mizzou really doesn't have a back up for him so they want to limit how much he runs.
