Mizzou opens as 13 point favorites

This. It's amazing how some of these posters actually believe UT is a good team. The coaches and players should be ashamed to walk out on the field after that butt-kickin' by 'Bama.

We are a good team. We're not a top tier SEC team right now, but we're certainly a good team in comparison to a large portion of college football. Sorry we didn't compete with NFL lite.

Some of these people need to open their eyes.

Actually, He Is 100% Correct. Hurting Shaw Is The Only Reason UT Best SC. If Shaw Were In The Game, SC Does Not Go Ultra Conservative At The End.

Its Okay To Admit That UT Caught A Break.. It Is Good Enough That UT Won. You Don't Have To Make It Sound Like UT Had It All The Way.

So UT throttled him the whole game but somehow his injury made USCe more conservative than they would have been... even though the back up has won games for them? Don't think so.

Missouri wins easily against us. We simply don't have the defense to stop them. Auburn will be a similar outcome. Just gotta beat Vandy.

I'm not so sure about that. Mizzou, probably. Our defense has a hard time self motivating and that's, I think, a huge reason that we're having so much trouble on the road. So, I'll concede that we will probably lose to Mizzou (not being a negavol, just for clarification) unless our offense gets in a rhythm early and our D learns to motivate themselves without being in Neyland. Auburn is a different story. It's at home, on homecoming. So not only will we have our defense back up to its mental standard, but we'll also probably have some extra motivation because, ya know, homecoming weekend draws a crowd. If I had to guess, Auburn will be a sellout, and that's going to have our defense at full power, which is much different than A&M's D, which seems to me to be not so stellar this year. So I think we have a shot at Auburn, but Mizzou will definitely be a tough one.

To hear U guys talk your not worried about anybody! It amazes me, no matter how bad the Vols are they're fans still think it's the 90's and they're playing for SEC and National titles! You've got 3 really tough games left and still need 2 wins to go bowling.

Is it possible to be a joke and not be even REMOTELY funny?...Discuss amongst yourselves

Congrats on two wins in 30 years. That's really something to beat your chest about.

That picture helps put it in perspective. Haha, wow

Not shocked by the spread on that really. Seems very believable to me. If we can come out early and score points on their D, then I think we have a good shot. If we come out flat in the first half, we are probably screwed.

Whats funny is UT has the facility's, the fan base, top 10 recruiting classes, The radio stations in there pocket and they still suck!

I don't understand..... Why did you quote the picture that shows you've won 2 of the last 30 if your overall message was that UT sucks?

Whats even funnier is that Vandy is in the largest city of any SEC school and is currently enjoying their greatest success and they still cant sellout their stadium. Well, unless they're playing Tennessee.

Dude lives in Tennessee and is a rabid Vand fan--a fallback school for wealthy out-of staters who could not get into an Ivy. Vandy only has 788 students who are Tennesseans and they brag about it on their website.

Logic, I'm guessing, is not a big part of his life. Hopefully, he is at least a Vandy alum and not from Tennessee to begin with . . . . like the vast majority of Vandy alums.

SC 30, UT 17. Won't be very close. Worley lays another egg.

Get ready. It will be a blowout as long as Worley is QB. He sucks balls.

:loco: Doesn't appear you support this team.

FSU favored by 21 over Miami. Do they know something about Miami that nobody else does? That line is just screaming at me but I feel like I'm being baited.

Oregon St -4 over USC
UGA -3 over Fla

That's about right for FSU/Miami .. Miami has struggled against both UNC (who sucks) and Wake Forest (who also sucks, but not as bad) while FSU has destroyed NC State and gone into dump valley and destroyed Clemson too. I don't think Miami can hang in this game at all.

Vandy won with a back up QB and several guys hurt on D! Try again Vols fans!

Listen hot shot, not sure how much you paid for each one of those ridiculous "targeting" calls but it sure worked. With Georgia already having lost Matthews, Gurley, Marshall, Bennett, Scott-Wesley, and Mitchell prior to the game, they then lost Conley and Harvey-Clemons to injury during the game. Then add to that your first assistant coach dressed as a referee throwing the targeting penalty on Drew which no one outside of Vandy can figure out got our best defensive player tossed from the game. The second targeting got overturned .. but OH let's keep the bogus 15 yard penalty to keep Vandy in the drive and ultimately the game. Your team plays dirtier than about any in the SEC as evidence from two years ago with your punk center trying to take out a knee 3 seconds after the play is over but you always want to run smack after an overly controversial win. Enjoy it Vandy, next year you're going to get the same thing as last year .. AN EPIC SMOKE SESSION!

Same guy that predicted S Carolina to beat us (said it wouldn't even be close). Cute.

I am still trying to find the targeting on Drew myself. That was one of the worst calls on that rule I have seen this year. If that's targeting then they need to start playing flag football.

Exactly, if that's targeting, then I would like to see what a game (not with any SEC team mind you) would be like if they called that crap for an entire game. You would be playing with 22 versus 28 because all the rest of the players will have been ejected.
