Why did Mizzou come out wearing Confederate Gray for this game? I have never seen Mizzou wear any colors other than black, yellow, and white.

Sending a message.

I thought they had done gray pro combat before.

Are traditional baseball road uniforms Confederate Gray, or regular old gray?

Regular old gray; and they are a lot lighter than the hue known as "Confederate Gray" (road baseball uniforms are also a lot lighter than the gray that Mizzou wore today; which, I would classify as Confederate Gray).

I think that might have been anthracite, a new(er) greyish color Nike's been pushing for some of its teams to wear in their uniforms

but then again, it could have just been another shade of grey

Not only are they playing awful football, but their uniforms are not worthy of the traditions of the SEC.

I will continue to pull against them in every game they play as long as they keep shaming our league with those disgusting threads they trot out in every week.

Their uniforms may be awful, however, their tradition of football excellence belongs in the SEC. Did you know that Mizzou won six Big Eight championships in thirty years? That is one conference championship every five years (which, is actually a bit impressive). It is really the SEC's fault for not taking Mizzou when they were hot (1969).

Those uniforms are worst than a 1970's softball uniform. Eve many of their fans are saying that they need to get rid of them.

Most Mizzou fans I know have given up at least half of their Kool-Aid delusions ("Mizzou will compete for and win the SEC East") and are now moving on to the other, more delusional perspective ("Looking forward to basketball season").

they're alternates

these are their regular uniforms and helmets, they wore them playing their opening game and the game against Arizona State:

why they continue to wear their nike alternates in conference play has been baffling many though (other than some combo of kids liking it or nike pushing for it)

(not a fan of them either)

as far as in St. Louis, the "most" (not to stress/emphasize the word; just to give it similar meaning to your usage) I was hearing have been saying 6-7 games, at most 8...not sure which ones other than those handful of fans everyone's got and message board crazies I've seen on other sites were saying "will win the SEC"

Their uniforms are pretty bad but their helmets look pretty cool. Much better than the uniforms.
