Moving on....

How good is the replacement? I haven't watched him play but heard he did well against Florida. Just curious what type of quarterback he is.

I'm watching him right now. Reminds me a lot of Connor Shaw.

Making USCjr look worse than we did in the 1st half right now...

our slow asses are screwed again next week. Mizzou spreads the field and will have their choice of mismatches. Plus the qb is again faster than any of our db's

Pretty sure we shut Shaw down and he's much better than there QB.

I don't agree

I feel like a lot of people that are 'drinking their sorrows away' are also drowning in pessimism this evening.

the kid that just held the ball in his own endzone so the wr could get separation, looked off the receiver to make the cb's bite, and threw a 96 yard td pass?

It was a good throw to a wide open WR, but the secondary busted on a fake screen and then missed a tackle.

USCe is not a very good team to being with.

I disagree with that.

However, USC's starting QB is out, their secondary is VERY weak (which provides a great mismatch for Mizzou's 3 6'4" + receivers), and Mike Davis has fumbled twice in clutch situations.

Basically, Mizzou is playing well-rounded football, yes, but USCe is just sucking it up right now.

I live in Ohio and warched Mauk play in a playoff game first round. He walks the walk and talks the talk. He was really cocky but he was really good. West coach option qb. He is more than confident for sure.

I live in Ohio too, he was a legend here and people were kinda upset he didnt really get a look from OSU. I'd love to have him as a QB, pretty mobile, excellent arm strength and accuracy. Drew Brees at the next level IMO

Alot of the big schools didnt offer because of him being in div. 5. at Kenton. He wanted to go to ND but they did'nt offer. Mizzou saw his talent. He did stand out from the rest.

Pinkel always has a good QB at Mizzou. (Brad Smith, Chase Daniel, Blaine Gabbert) Local sports talk compare Mauk to Johnny Football. Says he also has lots of swagger.
