Mo Couch expected to know Thursday..

there is no decision to be made at this juncture. up to UT and they won't make next move until money is repaid.. then they can negotiate with NCAA

If that's the case, then if we take what the OP said as truth, that would mean UT isn't doing anything to get Mo back on the team and my guess is he won't play again for the program.

Highly doubt Mo will ever play at UT again. He's been out for 2 months. Would take him the rest of the season to get back in shape. Maybe he could play in a bowl game?

Thanks.....NCAA applying the rules randomly I am also glad that we handle this the way that we did.

Agree. We could have seen worse sanctions from the NCAA if we handled it differently. We don't need that as a program. We sacrificed Mo to save us from more stringent penalties.

Like in the military; you sacrifice a few soldiers to protect the majority of your troop. Had to be done.

I never counted on Mo coming back. The coaching staff has prepared likewise.

Just heard on the sports animal that the NCAA has declared Mo done for the year and that UT is appealing.

@Vol_Football: The NCAA has declared Maurice Couch permanently ineligible. UT will appeal.

After the appeal if denied again we should have him hit the road with a book deal and signing.

Are you F#cking serious? I agree that there are changes that need to be made, but my gracious. Equating these kids to slaves is pathetic. You are inadvertently disrespecting a massive amount of people with this post, including those that you are trying to stick up for.

He's good at that. He is the new union leader for the United Brotherhood of Underpaid NCAA Athletes.
