The great thing about good debate is that it forces one to have answers or consider other answers. It either reinforces opinions and beliefs or forces one to reconsider. It is not good debate when one party refuses to be reasonable or begins using adjectives (hate, racist ect..) because they are unwilling to accept reality and are stubborn to the point of absurdity.

Unfortunately, there are some posters on here that are guided by blind dogma. No matter how many times their opinions are discredited they keep proclaiming the same line. I have had many discussions that go that way.

I for one will listen to any opinion that is reasonable. I may challenge it or try to discredit it but if I can't then i will reconsider the answers.
