Montrell Conner

I wish I had my recruiting board ready to show, but I don't. But here's what I've gathered about Conner

He's a big LSU fan, and would commit there in a heartbeat, but LSU won't offer a scholarship due to low availability numbers. This time last week, I pegged Conner as a "cross your fingers" guy, which in my vernacular, means - we have a shot, but work to do.

Now, where does he say we're in his top 4? I haven't seen that.

However, I think this kid is a sleeper, even WITH his **** rating.

6'2" 210 and still in high school? He looks like a stud, too.

I think Ole Miss is going to be a big factor in his race.

I could see him playing LB or S. Do we really need another RB if Giles is a silent commit?

He's listed as an ATH, so he might be open to trying another position.

When they tried him at LB in HS, it didn't go well.

Just as a weird aside: I think he'd be a better fit for Clawson's "westbrook" role than Damien Thigpen.
