After reading the article all I can say is that Bryant Gantt guy is probably underpaid. I know where he could really make some money if he knows anything about dealing with laptops?

This is exactly the sort of gossip, innuendo, rumors and speculation I need from the news media. Oh wait.

Doesn’t matter Kirby runs Athens and the police like Saban runs Tuscaloosa. Kirby can do whatever he wants as long as he is winning championships.

The AJC and USAToday both published hit pieces on the GA football program this weekend. Both documenting the same thing, Kirby has a fixer on staff who is in the room any time his kids get in trouble. 80 some odd cases from sexual assault to drag racing to speeding tickets. They do a great job of shutting it down.

People of Athens will accept it as long as he’s winning big but if it stops, they’ll turn on him and the authorities. They should rename UGA “the Athens Zoo

There’s always a Texas out there somewhere. O$U showed the world they can be beat. You just gotta keep your foot on the gas and dodge the cheap shots.

Yup. OSU was in total control until uga went all uga and late hit/cheap shot/targeted Harrison. It's what they do. It's the uga "culture" Just ask Shy Tuttle.

We can beat them this year. Will we? Who knows. But we can.

There’s was nothing wrong with the hit on Harrison. Even the B10 director of officiating said two days after the game that it was a clean hit.

Lmao if that hit came from Trevon Flowers you’d have the picture framed and you’d hang it in your bedroom.

I support many rule changes in favor of player safety but that one was clean. Welcome to the SEC Mr. Harrison. Not quite as easy as running through the Rutgers secondary completely untouched.

The hit wasnt clean.

Next you'll be telling me the hit on Tuttle was clean, and it was just a coincidence that Kublanow was featured on the UT ticket the next year.

The lengths the VolDawgs in here go to support uga is almost touching.

i thought it was fine, but I’ve definitely seen flags for hits like that one.

This has nothing to do with your ridiculous notion of some fans being “voldawgs.” As preyed on rightfully said, if Tennessee had been playing OSU in the playoffs and a UT DB had made that exact same hit, there’s not a chance in hell that you would be saying that it was a dirty play.

You dont have a clue what I would or wouldnt do, but if a Vol hit someone aiming at their head that late, I'd want them benched. If you wanna defend it, be my guest and if the term VolDawg annoys you, then feel free to refrain from defending them. Otherwise, feel welcome to FO. Your choice.

Florida, Alabama, etc. are ridiculed and attacked on these boards, and there isn't a Vol to jump to their defense. If someone slights uga, there is a small but tenacious cadre who feel compelled to jump to their defense, remind everyone how many times uga has beaten us lately, and heap mounds of praise on the roster and program. Damnedest thing ever.

Are you part of that? I have no idea, but you seem awfully triggered by the opinion that uga hit Harrison late. Very triggered. It's amazing to behold.

Hit him late? You don’t even know what you’re arguing about now. He didn’t him late. No one has ever argued that it was a late hit. The only argument was whether or not it was targeting. The official originally threw the flag for a hit to the head. After replay, they overturned the call because they said that it in fact was not targeting. Which, as I already pointed out, the B10 Director of Officiating agreed with. And yes, I’m quite certain that if a Tennessee player did that exact thing in a playoff game, or any game, you wouldn’t want him benched.
