From what I got listening to the game, we're still lacking in the special teams dept. Morley on the kickoff and losing two onside kicks out of 3.

I think our special teams will hurt is during SEC play. It's just boneheaded stuff.

Yes, special teams were bad. We had a kickoff taken out to the 1 yard line. There were a couple of other miscues, as well.

The first onside kick was just a great onside kick. The second one they were offsides.

Special teams failures almost always seem to be due to boneheadedness, don't they LMS?

I don't know what Morley was thinking on that kickoff return. He didn't just let one knee touch, I think he was on both knees.

that was the entire point...they mean to be annoying. they're like a gnat flying in front of your face on a hot summer day that you can't swat.

i wouldn't worry too much about our special teams or this game in general. at least we weren't fumbling punt and kick returns like last year.
