I saw some pretty good Republican ethics this week. Judicial Watch issued a big press release that documents and emails they had obtained showed that Pelosi had been such a Diva by asking for Air Force transportation. Fox ran a big thing about it, of course.

Well, oops. First, it was President Bush who had ordered that the Speaker of the House get Air Force transportation because, after 9/11, the concern was that third in succession needed to have that. Second, turns out Dennis Hastert used it 2-3 times a week, whereas she uses it about once a month.

I dislike Pelosie as much as most on here. She annoys me. But it is amazing how much the Republicans want to flat out fabricate things to try to get some momentum at this point.

Way to ignore the point of the thread.

momentum, i think you boy hussein is doing that, by running our country to socialism and killing business.

i do find it amazing the libs/dems will blast a company for a private jet, though that B@%ch pelosi is demaning a gigantic private plane at our expense.

that hypocrite preaches to us about the environment, though her plane would be worse for the environment (if you believe that crap.)

I saw it mentioned on Fox a couple of times and each time they mentioned that it was Bush that started it. Their point was that it is tough economic times AND she is the one who is criticizing bank and auto execs about the use of private planes.

Plus, they want to get away with everything Bush implemented so man up and do away with this pointless spending. She is not only demanding a private plane, but a bigger one that did not have to stop to fill up for gas on the way to cali and would hold more people.

If you could put away your own bias for a second you would see that the criticism comes from the fact that the plan provided was not good enough, making that refueling stop was unacceptable for her free ride at our expense and she had to have something better and even more expensive. How is that not newsworthy given our current situation and the hypocrisy so many in office show?
