Blog article from ESPN after the last 7 on 7 practice:

Parting thoughts from Titans' camp - AFC South - ESPN

Lots of good things. Depth is great everywhere but oline and secondary (hopefully a rookie or faggins steps up there).

Nate Washington is looking great and may even be good enough to warrant himself as a threat rather than just to open up more for chris johnson.

The secondary is playing great, almost as if the DBs want to prove to everyone again that their defense was great because of them too, not just due to haynesworth.

Been some good things about young's playing and maturing all of the practices. still word that ramsey could be coming along too and win that second spot in preseason, so we'll wait and see.

Biggest thing is Jared Cook. The rookie TE has been great so far in his catches, making both solid and spectacular ones as well. If he keeps this up in actual play, he's going to be the most impactful rookie on the team this season.

I'm not sure how to feel....I'm really excited about a gamecock. It's confusing and somewhat unsettling in the pit of my stomach at the same time...just don't let me down Jared!

Jared Cook is who really stood out for me the other day. He was just a presence and he was physical and ran great routes. Javon Ringer also showed some great quickness out of the backfield.

Saw on NFL Live last nite that Vince Young said that he "would be the next black qb to win a superbowl, and that he will be in the Hall of Fame." the guys on the show were jokin on him

off topic, but what is Michael Crabtree thinking?

This Crabtree thing is ridiculous. Some of these kids think they're entitled to all this money without proving themselves. He must really love the game if he's willing to sit out a year because he wants to get paid based on where Mel Kiper ranked him.

How much is his stock gonna go up after not competing for a year?? I wouldn't think very much at all.

Most people won't once he proves something other than his big talk. I'm sure he'll have plenty of time to think warming the bench yet again this year.

Tough talk from a guy that has a legit shot at being the 3rd string QB this year.

And if he does all that (which he won't), it won't be with the Titans, barring a miracle.

oh please. look he finally said something positive rather than moping around on the sides with his head down, I think that's a big step up from where he was.

Let him set some lofty goals, it's fine. he's not getting anywhere near them this year and he won't be starting this year.

And honestly, he's still going to be on the roster. His practices haven't been fantastic, but they have been better than they were. That's still going to keep him above patrick ramsey unless he has a really bad preseason....like 5 picks in 2 games or something
