Franklin is better than Mauk in every sense. Mauk wouldn't be starting if Berkstresser weren't also hurt.

Mizzou has a good system. Their players play that system well. Every AQ team UT has played so far has been faster overall than Mizzou and unless I am forgetting something... they were faster at WR when UT played them too- Oregon, UGA, UF, USCe, Bama.... check.

Really? Because Mauk beat out Berkstresser for the second spot in spring/summer.

As much as I've said about the backup not being that good, Berkstresser was absolutely horrid for them last season...like I feel still much worse than this.

I heard Berkstresser was 3 with that team hoping to redshirt Prince like they did Maul last season.


That said, Berkstresser was horrid last season.

Berkstresser had a run in with the law this past spring IIRC. He hasn't had a banner year but the best I can tell he was still going to be #2.

I remember reading that their entire QB depth chart/competition was opened up in the spring and summer, and Franklin had run back the starting spot.

I feel I remember CBS (during the UGA) had said Mauk had beaten out the remaining QBs during the offseason to win the #2 spot.

From what I understand, Franklin won't take pain meds (religion), so if he is tender and we get after him, he won't be a happy camper.

You are probably right. Here is the latest depth chart. Guess we are going to be covering 3 receivers 6'4 or taller tomorrow. DGB played high school ball near where my parents now live. Lucas played near me in Liberty.
